Barbie & Kunnostusta (Barbie & Reconditioning)

Postimies toi tänään paketteja, ja yhdestä niistä löytyi tämä keijukainen jonka voitin Huuto.netistä: Barbie Fairytopia Wonder Fairy Joybelle.

Postman brought some packages to me today, and one of them had this fairy which I bought from local web auction: Barbie Fairytopia Wonder Fairy Joybelle.

Laitan nuken kampauksen uudelleen paremmin ja siipiin ja yläosaan piti laittaa hiuslenkki että pysyvät paikoillaan. Ja ajattelin laittaa nämä keijut roikkumaan vitriinin yläpuolelle, koska veisivät siipineen hirveästi tilaa...

I'll make her hairdo better and I had to put hair bobble to her wings and top outfit so they will stay and not fall. And I thought that I would put these fairy dolls hang above my vitrine, because they would take lots of place with their wings...

 Olen myös kunnostanut sekä kustomoinut saamani merenneito-kropan, vielä joskus laitan uutta maalia kunhan sellaista löydän. Väliaikaisesti laitoin Nayrun pään tähän kroppaan, kunnes saan värjättyä toisen pään tälle kropalle.

I've also reconditioned and customised my mermaid body, I'll repaint this after I found some paint. I placed Nayru's head to this body temporary, 'cause I need to dye other doll's hair to this

En ole taas vähään aikaan laittanut tänne kuvia, mutta tänään tuli postissa uusia nukkeja joten nyt laitan :)

It's been a while since I've posted here some pictures, but today I got some new dolls so it's time to post :)

MyScene Fab Faces -nuket ovat ihastuttavia, koska niiden ilmettä voi vaihtaa selässä olevista nappuloista (kuvia myöhemmin). Nukeille tuli mukana alkuperäiset asut mutta ei kenkiä, joten laitoin niille toisiinsa sopivat vaatteet. Nimiä en nyt muista/tiedä, mutta annoin nimiksi Christy (tumma) sekä Whitney (vaalea).

MyScene Fab Faces dolls are wonderful, because you can change their expression by pressing buttons on their back (pics later). They came with original outfits but shoes were missing, so I put some matching clothes to them. I don't remember/know their names, but I named them Christy (dark one) and Whitney (blond one).





Nämä MyScene -nuket ovat myös ihastuttavia, koska niillä on istutetut ripset. Vaihdoin nukeille nivelletyt vartalot (tummalla on väärän värinen, muttei luonnossa näy pahasti), he ottivat Fab Faces -nukkejen vaatteet ja saivat nimikseen Amy  (vaalea) sekä Megan (tumma).

These MyScene dolls are wonderful too, because they have rooted eyelashes. I changed jointed bodies to them (dark one has wrong colored, but the difference is not that bad in nature), they took dresses from Fab Faces dolls and I gave them names Amy (blond one) and Megan (dark one)

Tein myös tälle intiaanineidolle nenäproteesin pikaliimasta ja meikkivoiteesta. Se näkyy kyllä selvästi ja on hieman väärän värinen, mutta on se nyt parempi kuin kuoppa. Ja luonnossa sekä kaukaa katsottuna se ei näy niin selkeästi.

I also made nose prosthesis to this American Indian doll from superglue and make up foundation. You can see it clearly and it's a bit wrong colored, but it's better than hole. And looking far away you can't see it so clearly.

Kunnostusta: Barbie (Reconditioning: Barbie)

Äitin komerosta löytyi siskon vanha keräilybarbie, ja hiiret olivat päättäneet syödä tämän neidon nenänpään. Tänään sitten minulla välähti, menin hakemaan kyseisen nuken, vaatteet ja kankaanpaloja, ja tässä on lopputulos:

Few day ago I found my sister's old collectible Barbie from my mother's closet, and there were mice that were bite her nose off. So today I got an idea, went to get that doll, took some old clothes and pieces of fabric and here's the result:

Kangas on vähän huonoa mutta parasta mitä tähän "hätään" löytyi. Saa nyt tämän ajan kelvata kunnes löytyy jotain joka ei ole ihan noin räikeää.

Fabric is a bit bad but only what I found whit  this "emergency". It can stay there until I find something that's not so bright.

Kirpparilöytöjä & Kunnostusta: Barbie (Flea Market Discovering & Reconditioning: Barbie)

Käväisin taas tässä lähiaikoina muutaman kerran lähikirpparilla ja löysin sieltä ruumissäkin (pussi missä oli muutama barbien pää + vartalo), joka lähtikin sitten mukaan halvan hintansa takia :) Aluksi katoin että säkissä oli vain pelkkiä huonoja nukkeja, mutta sieltä löytyikin pari päätä ja yksi vartalo jotka sitten kunnostin ja tulos on tämä:

I went to local flea market few times this week and found there a bodybag (a bag with few Barbie's heads + bodies) so I bought it 'cause it was so cheap :) First I thought that in the bag were only trashy dolls, but then I found two heads and one body there so I reconditioned them and here's results:

Tältä pää näytti ennen kunnostusta, tukka oli todella takussa ja sekaisin.                                                                        Head was like this before I reconditioned it, hair was so messy.

Jälkeen:

Tukan selvitin ja värjäsin elintarvikevärillä, tulos on upea turkoosi joka ei ole ihan tasainen, hieman vaaleampaa seassa, se tuo tukkaan hieman elävyyttä. Naamassa olevat tahrat ei lähteneet pois joten tein tuollaisen timanttipannan vanhasta ketjusta. Nukella on yllä väliaikainen asu uutta asua odotellessa.

I brushed the hair and used food color to dye it, result is amazing turquoise which has lighter parts in it that makes it more realistic. I couldn't remove the color on the forehead so I made diamond collar/headpiece from and old chain. Doll is wearing temporary dress while she's waiting new outfit.

Säkistä löytyi myös toinen nuken pää josta tuli heti mieleen Paris Hilton. Pesin nuken tukan, selvitin, käänsin osan otsatukasta ylös ja loput taivutin sivuun. Korut tein itse vanhasta ketjusta ja napakorusta :)

There were this other head which reminded me of Paris Hilton. I washed her hair, brushed it, bent a part of her fringe under her headband and rest of it on other side. I made her jewelry myself from old chain and navel ring :)
