Sassy sai vielä tänään uuden mekon ja uuden kampauksen :)

Sassy got also today another dress and new hairdo :)

Lisäksi vielä postista tuli Barbie Queen Of Heartsin pää, jolle väsäsin nutturan ja laitoin väliaikaiset vaatteet.        

Also, from post came Barbie Queen Of Hearts's head, I made her topknot and put on some temporary clothes.

Barbie, Winx Club & Living Dead Dolls

Nyt onkin monta nukkea samassa postauksessa :) Kaksi Huuto.netistä ja yksi Barbie-foorumilta.

Now there's many dolls in this post :) Two from local web auction and one from Barbie-forum.

Ensimmäisenä on vuorossa torstaina postista tullut Barbie: Top Model Hair Wear Summer. Tässä nukessa viehättää se kun osa hiuksista ovat vihreät, tykkään juuri hieman erikoisista/persoonallisista nukeista :)

First is the doll that came from post last thursday, Barbie: Top Model Hair Wear Summer. I like her green hair stripes, 'cause I like a bit extraordinary/personally dolls :)

Alkuperäinen kampaus oli huono joten heti paketin avattuani pääsi neiti pesulle ja tukan uudelleenlaittoon :)

Original hairstyle was bad so right after I opened her package I washed her hair and made new hairstyle.

                              

Seuraavana on vuorossa Winx Club Bloom (en ole nimestä 100% varma, mutta näin luulisin.)

Next is Winx Club Bloom (I'm not 100% sure about her name, but I think that is it.)

Tässä nukessa viehättää nuken keijuasu, arkiasuisista Winxeistä en välitä. Vielä kun siivet löytäisi... Nukella on myös istutetut ripset, se on myös suuri plussa.

I'm attracted to her fairy outfit, I don't mind Winx dolls with normal clothes. I hope I can find wings to her... This doll has rooted eyelashes, it's a big plus.

Ja viimeisenä (eikä todellakaan vähäisimpänä) kaikkein odotetuin paketti postista ja kaikista nukeista: Living Dead Dolls Series 9: Dawn!!! Tämä neiti on ihastuttavampi kuin osasin ikinä odottaa. Olen vieläkin ihan sanaton.

Samasta sarjasta tuttu Purdy tuli myös tervehtimään uutta asukasta, ja tästähän Dawn vasta riemastuikin.

And last (but definitely not least) the most waited package from post and from all the dolls: Living Dead Dolls Series 9: Dawn!!! This doll is way more adorable than I could ever expect. I'm still speechless.

Purdy from the same series came to greet her new mate, and Dawn came really exited about it.

Kunnostusta: Barbie (Reconditioning: Barbie)

Äitin komerosta löytyi siskon vanha keräilybarbie, ja hiiret olivat päättäneet syödä tämän neidon nenänpään. Tänään sitten minulla välähti, menin hakemaan kyseisen nuken, vaatteet ja kankaanpaloja, ja tässä on lopputulos:

Few day ago I found my sister's old collectible Barbie from my mother's closet, and there were mice that were bite her nose off. So today I got an idea, went to get that doll, took some old clothes and pieces of fabric and here's the result:

Kangas on vähän huonoa mutta parasta mitä tähän "hätään" löytyi. Saa nyt tämän ajan kelvata kunnes löytyy jotain joka ei ole ihan noin räikeää.

Fabric is a bit bad but only what I found whit  this "emergency". It can stay there until I find something that's not so bright.

Barbie

Löysin Huuto.netistä tällaisen asun jota olen jo jonkinaikaa halunnut :) Mallina toimii edellisestä postauksesta tuttu kunnostettu Barbie, joka sai nimekseen Nayru.

I found this outfit which I've been looking for from local web auction :) Model is reconditioned Barbie from earlier post, and I named her Nayru.

Hameen alempi nappi irtosi heti, mutta sen sai onneksi ommeltua takaisin.

Lower button of the dress dropped off but I stitched it back.

Hattu on rikki, siinä on halkeama joka näkyykin kuvassa, mutta en  muutenkaan pidä hattua niin tärkeänä.

The hat is broken, there's a cut which can be seen on this picture, but I don't think that hat's very important.

Kirpparilöytöjä & Kunnostusta: Barbie (Flea Market Discovering & Reconditioning: Barbie)

Käväisin taas tässä lähiaikoina muutaman kerran lähikirpparilla ja löysin sieltä ruumissäkin (pussi missä oli muutama barbien pää + vartalo), joka lähtikin sitten mukaan halvan hintansa takia :) Aluksi katoin että säkissä oli vain pelkkiä huonoja nukkeja, mutta sieltä löytyikin pari päätä ja yksi vartalo jotka sitten kunnostin ja tulos on tämä:

I went to local flea market few times this week and found there a bodybag (a bag with few Barbie's heads + bodies) so I bought it 'cause it was so cheap :) First I thought that in the bag were only trashy dolls, but then I found two heads and one body there so I reconditioned them and here's results:

Tältä pää näytti ennen kunnostusta, tukka oli todella takussa ja sekaisin.                                                                        Head was like this before I reconditioned it, hair was so messy.

Jälkeen:

Tukan selvitin ja värjäsin elintarvikevärillä, tulos on upea turkoosi joka ei ole ihan tasainen, hieman vaaleampaa seassa, se tuo tukkaan hieman elävyyttä. Naamassa olevat tahrat ei lähteneet pois joten tein tuollaisen timanttipannan vanhasta ketjusta. Nukella on yllä väliaikainen asu uutta asua odotellessa.

I brushed the hair and used food color to dye it, result is amazing turquoise which has lighter parts in it that makes it more realistic. I couldn't remove the color on the forehead so I made diamond collar/headpiece from and old chain. Doll is wearing temporary dress while she's waiting new outfit.

Säkistä löytyi myös toinen nuken pää josta tuli heti mieleen Paris Hilton. Pesin nuken tukan, selvitin, käänsin osan otsatukasta ylös ja loput taivutin sivuun. Korut tein itse vanhasta ketjusta ja napakorusta :)

There were this other head which reminded me of Paris Hilton. I washed her hair, brushed it, bent a part of her fringe under her headband and rest of it on other side. I made her jewelry myself from old chain and navel ring :)
